FAQ

Product & Quality

1. What makes your sweaters special? Our sweaters are primarily crafted from double-layered, superfine merino wool, providing exceptional warmth, softness, and structure. We also offer standard-weight knits designed specifically for active ski days. Inspired by 1960s–70s ski uniforms and après culture, our designs blend vintage alpine style with modern durability. Every detail—from the racing stripes to the Western-prep lettering—is intentionally designed to stand out.

2. Are your sweaters itchy? No. We use superfine merino wool, which is significantly silkier than traditional wool. It is naturally soft, breathable, and smooth against the skin—never scratchy.

3. How warm are they? It depends on the style. Our signature double-layered sweaters are significantly warmer than standard merino styles, designed for chilly mountain days and cozy après nights. Our standard-weight knits offer a lighter option, perfect for layering or active skiing.

4. How do your sweaters feel compared to cashmere? Superfine merino is softer than traditional wool and more durable than most cashmere. It offers the warmth and breathability you expect from luxury knitwear, but holds its structure better over time.

5. Where are your sweaters made? Our sweaters are ethically made by skilled knitwear manufacturers in China who specialize in high-quality merino production. We use exclusively RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified wool.

6. Are your sweaters sustainable? Yes. Merino wool is a naturally renewable and biodegradable fiber. Our materials are sourced from suppliers who prioritize responsible farming and animal welfare.

7. What inspired your designs? Our sweaters draw from a mix of nostalgic influences:

  • 1960s–70s Olympic ski uniforms

  • Classic Après-ski culture

  • American West typography

  • East Coast prep heritage

Fit & Sizing

8. Do your sweaters run true to size? Yes—our sweaters are designed to be true to size with a classic, slightly tailored fit and a flattering silhouette. If you prefer a more oversized, relaxed look, we recommend sizing up.

9. What if I’m between sizes? If you’re between sizes, choose the larger size for a relaxed fit, or the smaller size for a cleaner silhouette.

10. Will merino wool stretch out? Merino naturally has a bit of give, but our double-layered construction ensures the sweater retains its shape. To maintain structure, we recommend folding rather than hanging your knitwear.

11. How do I choose a gift size for someone else? Our classic fit flatters most body types. However, if your special someone is between sizes or prefers to layer heavily underneath, we suggest sizing up. You can also include a gift note at checkout, and we offer easy exchanges if the fit isn’t perfect.

Care & Maintenance

12. How should I care for my sweater? Merino wool is naturally odor-resistant and does not need frequent washing. When you do wash it, we recommend:

  • Hand wash cold or use a gentle wool cycle

  • Lay flat to dry

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Store folded (not hung) to maintain shape

13. What if the sweater pills? Because merino is a natural fiber, light pilling may occur due to friction—this is normal. A gentle sweater comb will remove the pills and restore your sweater instantly.
